Stopped by for an apartment tour, Draper Village is such a beautiful community! Loved the convenient attached garages. ð

I lived here for four years 2021 - 2025. Would recommend. It was a hard decision to leave and ultimately the only reason I did was because I was ready to move out of Draper. The units are nice, pool is good/clean, community is friendly, safe area, and location is pretty convenient. It's a 20 minute walk to Trax or like 3 minute drive to I-15. Lots of shopping, restaurants, nice parks, etc. around. Draper has amazing hiking/nature super close by. The Cottonwood canyons are easy to get to. The maintenance guy/team was excellent and always very quick to address any concerns. I experienced very little communication from management about things like pool closures, power outages, etc. which is not really a big deal but just different from other places I've lived. In my opinion the parking situation is not as bad as some reviews make it seem. It was mostly a nonissue for me, but if you have multiple vehicles without a dedicated spot for each, it could be annoying. There were a handful of times where there were no open spots after ~9pm. You can either circle the lot and wait for someone to leave, or park in the neighborhood streets just outside of the complex. Not a big deal in my opinion. If you live on the second floor above a garage, know that you will be able to hear the garage door open and close. I got used to it quickly and really didn't mind but if you're sensitive to that type of thing be aware. Current management (Sydney/team) is very pleasant and genuinely helpful (this was not always the case). I got almost half of my deposit back after move out. If you take care of the unit and leave it in good condition you can expect at least partial refund of your deposit. My main qualm with this place is that they increased my rent each year and by the end of my time there I was paying significantly more than the going rate for the same unit 3 They did entertain negotiation during lease renewals but basically told me it wasn't possible to not increase the rent at least marginally. When I was moving out, they did agree to lower my rent and give me a discount for July if I re-signed my lease, but it still was slightly above what it would have been for someone signing a new lease. Sydney was so amazing throughout the whole process, but I think their corporate management is a bit exploitative and hungry for profits which is kinda just the nature of the industry :(

Painters and Professional Cleaners are a joke. They should be fired. Job was half done.

Draper Village residents can't seem to grasp how to close a door properly, doing so like they are trying to break the sound barrier and at all hours of the day/night. Very obnoxious

So far, no good. I rented a 1 bedroom apartment and just recently spent my 1st weekend here only to find out that the bedroom is located directly above 3 garages. Therefore, I havenât been able to sleep at all. I asked the management office if I could move and they told me no, not until Iâve been here for 6 months. Fair Mkt nonsense. What about the person currently paying rent who CANT get any sleep due to the garage doors opening and closing at all hours of the night?? Whatâs fair here? The cleanliness of the unit I moved in to was disgusting. So far Iâm not happy living here, Iâll repost after another month to see if there are any improvements. If I last that long.
