I edited this review since I can’t add a new one. First one was in 2022 (my first year) and this one is as of Aug 2025 This will be a long one… 1 - Initially we loved the place. It was our first apartment for me and my now fiance. We got the price during a promo which was reasonable. Which made me decide to upgrade from 2 to 3 bedroom. 2 - This is where the bad experience started. After 2 years on our 2 bedroom apartment, we we wanted a bigger space. So we upgrwsed. There was a month left in our lease so we had to pay $700 just to switch apartment (i think this is not fair especiailly we were moving to the same apartment complex but whateeve). On the day of our move, THE APARTMENT WAS NOT READY! I paid for movers and ainxe the apartment was not ready, I wasted an hour which is $150. It doesn’t help when your property manager are not empathetic, helpful, and she was the one giving me attitude. 3 - And this is the worst one, my garage door kept breaking 3 times and I reported all 3 times. Not sure what kind of fix they are doing but the issue kept happening every few months. I then reported that there was something wrong with the garage door for the 4th time and on the day of the inspection, the inspector told me, in my face verbally, that it was not my fault. THEN THE PROPERTY MANAGER TOLD ME I HAD TO PAY $1200 BECAUSE IT WAS MY FAULT! You know what after talking for an hour and not coming to a resolution, I paid it because I need that garage door to be working. 4 - The appliances are old. The washer ruined a few of my clothes by staining and the part where you put the bleach is broken. The dish services included on your media package also is outdated. The internet keeps going out every few months. 5 - Even in my last days it has been terrible. I went to the office to ask for what I need to do for the last day. Since my last day is a sunday, I was told to just leave the keys in the apartment. One day before I moved out, I called ans confirmed, well what do you know. I was told to give the keys saturday because no one works on sundays. Extra: When I moved from our 2 BR to the 3 BR apartment, I got a feedback form for which I filled out. The property manager then texted me that I should told her personally first before posting online or answering the feedback form. And fyi, she was snarky about it because I detailed how bad the experience was. I’m not even going to be surprised if I don’t get my deposit back.

We really enjoyed living here. If you're looking to live here, you know that it seems like a nice place to live - and it is. The thing that was frustrating to us were all of the hidden fees. Before signing, we were well aware of the required media package (that we didn't want - we never even bothered to plug in our TV). However, we were not aware that we would, for example, be billed a line item on our utilities for Real Estate Tax. Yes, this is completely legal but we felt it was disingenuous to not make this apparent up front. We were also frustrated that upon move-out, we were charged multiple fees that consumed our entire deposit and required additional payment. Cleaning fees such as carpet shampooing seem fair, but despite trying our best to be respectful of the unit, we were still charged a large fee to repaint the entire apartment. I'm certain that no one would say that a complete repaint is necessary. Some touchups, sure, but a complete repaint is totally unnecessary. Overall, we enjoyed living here, but felt that the already high price was surprisingly moved even higher with this nickel-and-diming. I do recommend living here, but keep in mind that you will likely end up paying more than you are quoted. It's up to you if it's worth the higher price. To the staff: Thank you for your effort in taking care of the residents. Greater transparency needs to be given up-front regarding actual monthly fees (such as the Real Estate Tax) as well as the deposit that will inevitably be wholly consumed upon move-out.

Although at this time I am unable to move into the property, Adam was the most helpful, kind rental agent, I have ever spoken with. He went above and beyond to answer my many questions and followed up with answers to additional clarifications for me. In the future if ever I am looking for a rental to call home, I will definitely consider Draper Village!

Draper village is a great place a bit over priced but the apartments it self are nice. Just know right now that no matter how spotless the apartment is when you leave they will take your whole deposit. nothing really special about the complex though Pool and hot tube are decent hot tube is nice but half the Jets don’t work and has been like that for the whole year we live there but overall I mean it a good place the only real plus of the apartment is the location. everything is within a max 15 min drive.

Very expensive to have animals here, they make you pay a pet fee even if you are temporarily watching an animal.
