I really like living here. I live on the second floor of one of the apt buildings. Its always clean outside, the apartments are well built, they allow dogs, there is a common area, a pool that is always clean and maintained, and it is located in a central area, near the freeway, shops, and a gym. I wish that there was more parking, but we paid for a spot and we have 2 cars. So it is kind of our fault. The fees of course keep going up... and their online rent submitting is not the best. It charges you to submit your rent and sometimes it doesnt complete your session. They also only have the garbage come once a week and so the garbage is over flowing by the time it gets there, resulting in a mess... they did say we could have the truck come another day, but it will cost us. Also, there are "drive ways" in between the apartments and no joke, large trucks and school buses go through, early in the morning (7-9) and it sounds so much louder since the buildings are so close together. It funnels the sound. BUT it doesnt happen every morning and it gives you a reason to wake up and go to the gym. Ha! Overall, its a great place to be. The rent is a little spendier than other places, but I think they take good care of it and I would recommend.

While the moving in process was easy. The extra fees and charges that you uncover upon your first few months rent are quite shady. The breakdown of rent they give before you move in is misleading. The breakdown doesn't cover costs for landscaping, garbage, garage, pool/gym maintenance, real estate tax (which, yes, they charge you). I am extremely happy with the actual living space, but extremely disappointed in the management and financial subversion that Draper Village employs.

RENTER BEWARE!!! They look ok from the outside for the most part. The dumpsters and the trash are always over flowing. if you have beds, couches or somethings you need to dispose of just leave them on the lawn. They will still be there next week. Careful people sleep behind the dumpsters! It is scary! However the police are called there sometimes 4-5 times a week. It is a very busy place! They usually bring their dogs. We did not feel safe there! Read your lease VERY carefully! You can die while renting there, you will still be held to your lease! When you do move out... don"t clean or try to make it liveable for anyone else. You will be charged for it anyway along with EVERY last detail. Including that little nail in the wall. They charge you to paint the entire wall. Draper Village had 3 different managers at my time there. This last one is a delight. NOT!!! I do not recommend this complex to you or ANYONE!!!

Would not recommend renting from Draper Village Apartments I am only leaving one star because there is no option for ZERO stars. The manager is dishonest and fabricates false charges. Be very careful with speaking to her alone because she says one thing and does another. She can be an arrogant know-it-all that is lazy to provide the services required to provide and quick to lie to stack up your bill. We did exactly as what we were asked upon move out, cleaned, left keys in the unit, and filled out the document requested. We were not planning on living in the unit for very long, so while living there we left the unit unfurnished and lived with the bare minimum necessities. After moving out, we were charged for supposedly ruining an apartment that was barely lived in for less than three months. The 'wear and tear' was minimum if at all. Draper Village Apartments called the following Monday stating that they were not able to enter the unit due to it being locked. We informed them that we had done exactly as requested. We were then threatened to pay for a locksmith and it turned into this huge, unnecessary, dramatic fiasco. Several weeks later, to follow up on any possible incurred charges, we were told that we were being charged for several extra days, painting, cleaning, âleft over utilitiesâ, etc. It was almost $700 including not receiving a deposit back on the original apartment leased (long story). They stated that we had left the apartment âunrentable to other tenants⦠left dings and holes in the walls; scuffs on all the baseboards, it was awful and we have picturesâ (we didnât even move our stuff in). They said they couldnât get into the apartment because we never left the keys. They claimed we borrowed their copy and never returned it. Not one of the 2 occupants had borrowed a key and the manager has yet to provide proof of this. So, if a key was truly lent out, wouldnât that threaten our safety? Mind you⦠this is all following the fact that we had originally rented an apartment and had to switch to another apartment since they gave us the wrong one and they had double charged us rent for almost a week for their screw up after we were told that we were not going to be charged as such. I would not rent from this place. That woman is less than professional and a sad excuse for management at any apartment complex.
