DONâT MOVE HERE. The biggest regret I have is not believing the comments posted about this terrible complex. I have several complaints about this and Iâll leave it in bullet points and explain them further down if youâre interested.
-Unprofessional management that doesnât care at all about their residents
-No matter how many noise complaints you make, the apartment management will not do anything about it
-Itâs supposed to be a non-smoking complex but even with several complaints filed, our apartment always smelled like weed
-Our leaving costs were increased by 94% even though we had agreed for a specific amount on the lease
-Be prepared to have an attorney to live here because you will not be able to get any help from the apartment complex
-Management much rather get paid rent then obey the law
-Thereâs no parking after 5PM
We lived in building 7 unit 204 and had to deal with constant noise from our upstairs neighbours 24/7 because they had several children and 6 people living there, regardless of it being a one bedroom one den apartment. The apartments completely ignored the fact of them living illegally, but they refused to do anything about the noise that was affecting our daily lives and even our physical and mental health. They âtriedâ reaching out to the people above us and Jessica (the useless manager) literally said ,âI canât control my residentsâ. Be prepared to have noise constantly and calling the cops as it will be part of your daily routine.
Not only did we struggle with the noise, our apartment constantly smelled like weed from our other neighbours. We sent out several complaints but it was never resolved. Itâs a non-smoking complex but there are several people who smoke marijuana and cigarettes around the complex.
The thing that makes me the most upset is the leaving costs. I have attached below what our lease agreement established as our leaving costs and how much they charged us to leave. They have no pictures of the apartment being damaged and they increased our costs by 94%, charging us almost $1,000.00 to move out. We had our attorney discuss the costs with them but theyâre so unprofessional and slow that they refuse to obey their own contract. We ended up paying $270 on top of our $400 deposit to leave out after several discussions because we were just sick and tired of having to deal with their nonsense. Almost $1000 to move out!?!?! Ridiculous! I e never seen something like this before and there was only once picture sent of a scratch on the wall⦠they say itâs mostly utilities but Iâve never seen someone get charged $900 for utilities.
They only let you have one parking spot and promise that there is plenty of free parking. We were almost never able to get any parking spots near our apartment after 5PM and after 7PM there were absolutely no other free parking spots.
My experience of this apartment complex was dreadful, it took a huge mental toll out of me and no matter how good our attorney was, the apartment management refused to help or to budge, only caring about the money they are receiving regardless. Please donât make the same mistake I did and get a better place. I promise you, any other apartment complex will be better than this dumpâ¦
They have worst management (Jessica) Iâve ever had to deal with and Iâve dealt with my fair share of managers before. Do not count on her because she will not be of any help. Sheâs extremely unprofessional and very condescending.
